![]() ![]() While it might be nice to be alerted to it, I don't need to be continuously alerted for the 10 miles while driving to it. It was just the text, something like "Left on Main Street", that was blinking. In GM/AA, when you are not close to the destination you've programmed in, the display is a distance to the next instruction, projected above an arrow showing how you should be steering now, and that's above text listing the next driving instruction. Since it changed on a day when both Google Maps and Android Auto updated on my phone, I suspect one of them did it. The point is that I'm not sure if it is the car, or the Garmin and GM/AA, that generates the image. And the arrangement looks a little different. ![]() ![]() The display looks a little different all white in GM/AA but light blue arrows and such in the Garmin.
